The New Industrialisation and Technology Training Programme (NITTP) is a government funding scheme launched in August 2018. It aims to encourage local enterprises to provide their employees with advanced technology training related to “new industrialisation.”
The maximum funding under NITTP is HK$500,000 per company per financial year (calculated based on the course commencement date). Funding is provided on a 2:1 matching basis (Government : Enterprise), meaning the Government subsidises two-thirds of the actual course fees, while the remaining one-third is borne by the enterprise.
The NITTP primarily supports training courses in advanced technologies, especially emerging technologies that are not yet widely implemented in Hong Kong but demonstrate significant potential for local economic growth.
NITTP applications are currently open year-round. However, applications must be submitted to the Programme Secretariat at least four months prior to the commencement of the course.
In general, once the company has submitted the application, andall required documentation has been duly submitted and verified as complete and accurate, approximately it takes25 working daysfor the company to receive a notification letter from the Programme Secretariat to formally informed of the outcome. If the NITTP application is approved, the notification letter will specifythe maximum funding capand funding details, as well as the administrative requirements to be fulfilled upon completion of the course.行政流程.

There is no limit. A company may nominate multiple employees to attend the same course, provided that they meet the eligibility requirements. However, the same employee may not enrol in the same course more than once for the purpose of applying for funding.
You may contact the Programme Secretariat for assistance, or engage a professional corporate services provider such as OneSec to support your application.
